Otaku Mascots

In case you don't know what Otaku Mascots are, they are window sitters made with a program from those geniuses up at OtakuWorld. To download the program for free, check out the Otaku Mascot homepage.

These little buggers are deceivingly simple to make. Even easier than a Kamishibai and MUCH easier than making a KiSS doll, they take relatively little time to make at all. Wow. So, if you can't afford the subscription or are just some pathetic free-loader, don't worry-you can download mine right here at this website...for free.

Tabitha Tabby

This was my first mascot, a parody of all the cat mascots. It popped into my head as soon as I saw the program. It's pretty simple-it purrs and wags it's tail. It's the click animation, however, that I designed this for-you can push her off the window. Her reaction is priceless.

Lilybell

My second mascot. I envisioned a cute little girl in a flower petal dress with butterfly wings and set to work drawing it. I'm glad that she came out so cute, but she went through several revisions before I was pleased with her. Many of the revisions were suggested by the Otaku Mascot Forum, and I appreciate them all. Lily does more than Tabitha, but her click animation isn't quite so fancy. However, the nectar drink seems fitting for a Chou Onna.

Amelia Aphroa

The inspiration is pretty obvious-I wanted to make an Amelia mascot to accompany LoveQuest. Therefore, I pulled out all the stops and she has almost 100 frames of animation. She and Lilybell were made from the same template, but I adjusted it enough to make them unique. I hope to do more LoveQuest mascots in the future.

Venus, take me back!
